The US
Navy Needed a way to better manage the complex process of estimating and
reporting the life cycle of aircraft parts...
Following a thorough analysis of the Navy's
business requirements, Webenetics built a dynamic component
and tracking system for assessing the life cycle of aircraft
parts. The Webenetics-designed database system tracks the
flight-critical components for all rotary wing aircraft for
the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps, enabling NAVAIR and NAWCAD
to accurately and reliably ensure the safety of all rotorcraft
in their fleets.
The Webenetics model incorporates backup as well as database
centralization, facilitating data sharing between analysts: two critical
capabilities NAVAIR and NAWCAD lacked prior to their contract with Webenetics.
This application also generates several regularly
required documents used to disseminate parts retirement data to Navy and
Marine Corps engineers in the field.
The Webenetics solution provided increased
accuracy for data, improving the efficiency of generating
reports and resulting in increased safety for our troops.
NAWCAD engineers currently use the Prototype system and Webenetics
is finalizing enhancements. The next phase involves the deployment
of a fully Web enabled system, further enhancing the system's
reach and effectiveness. [< PORTFOLIO]
