I'm a Hungarian from Budapest. I like your page and your collection of the famous Hungarians. As Ákos G. Varga said, when i look at this page i feel proud to be a Hungarian. I hope you can read the original language version too, because my english
knowledge is very weak.
I wish you thank, to create this page.

This is all I know so far, although the photo that I found on the internet of him shows him to be about 20-25 years old. My grandfather was Imre Babicsak, born in Mehtelek, Hungary, 1880 or so. He married
Maria Lencses, born in Szarak Berek, Hungary, which later became the town of Bercu, Romania. She was born in 1889 or so. They came to America in the early 1900s, originally to the McKeesport, PA, area and ended up in Castalia, Ohio. I

Hungarian Family Name for Genealogical Reference: Vincze and Gombos
I love this web site! Easiest access to information on Hungarian culture and history. I would be happy to hear from anyone researching geneology with similar family name. My family originated in Szeged, but unfortunately much information lost during WWII. Please feel free to contact me if you have or are looking for info on my family names.

I have done research in the Bodrog river valley, from Tokaj to Sarospatak. Main research has been the village of Vamosujfalu. A large number of people from this area came to New York State and settled Near Buffalo. Also Mocsa, and vicinity in Komorom. Would like to hear from others researching in these areas
